MaxWrite©, MaxCount© and MaxShow© shortcuts do not appear or run within the native products appear after installation.

Symptoms

1. After installing Max's Sandbox© for Microsoft® Office XP, you do not have a MaxWrite©, MaxCount© or MaxShow© button appear within the native products.
2. Clicking on the MaxWrite©, MaxCount© or MaxShow© button within the native product does not run MaxWrite©, MaxCount© or MaxShow©.

Cause

The macro security settings within Microsoft® Word, Microsoft® Excel and Microsoft® PowerPoint® may be set too high and do not accept add-ins and therefore the products will not allow Max's Sandbox© to run. You can check your Security settings by:

1. Opening Microsoft® Word 2002 or Microsoft® Excel 2002 or Microsoft® PowerPoint® 2002.
2. Select Tools, Macro, Security.

Resolution

To fix this problem you need to alter the Security settings within Microsoft® Word, Microsoft Excel® and Microsoft® PowerPoint® by:

1. Open Microsoft® Word 2002.
2. Select Tools, Macro, Security.
3. The Security dialog box appears. On the Security tab select the radio button next to the Medium option.
4. Click the Trusted Sources tab, select the check box next to the Trust all installed add-ins and templates option.
5. Click the OK button.
6. Close Microsoft® Word 2002.
7. Repeat steps 1 to 6 for Microsoft® Excel 2002 and Microsoft® PowerPoint® 2002.
