Max's Toolbox does not function with Mandatory Profiles

Symptoms

When launching any of the Max's Toolbox/Scholastic Keys applications from a mandatory user profiles, the application reports one or more of the following errors:

• Error Number: '429'; Error Source: 'MSMaxAppLib'; Error Description: 'ActiveX component can't create object' .
• Error Number: '-2147221503'; Error Source: 'MSMaxAppLib'; Error Description: 'ActiveX component can't create object'.
• Error Number: '91'; Error Source: 'MSMWLib'; Error Description: 'Object variable or With block variable not set'.

NB: The application functions when logged in as an administrator.

Resolution

To workaround this problem, disable Mandatory Profiles.
