Max's Toolbox installs but does not launch.

Symptoms

When trying to launch Max's Toolbox, an error message from Max's Toolbox containing "Error 419" is displayed.

Cause

This issue occurs on Windows 98SE operating system where the Windows Script is prior to version 5.6. The Windows Script is a component of Internet Explorer version 6.x and is required for Max's Toolbox to function.

Resolution

In order to resolve this issue Windows Script needs to be updated to version 5.6.

1. Close all Office applications including Microsoft Outlook.
2. Click on the following link Windows Script 5.6 to download the executable.
3. A File Download dialog box will appear.
4. Click the Save button, select the save in location as the Desktop, and click the Ok button.
5. Once the download is complete, double click on the scr56en.exe and follow the prompt to install.
